Michelle Beard
Michelle brings a wealth of experience to individuals and couples seeking fertility treatment and emotional support.  Michelle has been providing a friendly, compassionate and non-judgmental service for over 17 years.  Michelle has a special interest in working with patients undergoing donor treatment as well as working with the LGBTI community and single women.

  • Peri-natal and post-natal depression & anxiety
  • Eating Disorders & establishing healthy attitudes around eating behaviour

Michelle is a psychologist who has a Bachelor of Behavioural Sciences with Honours, a Graduate Diploma of Human Resources and Employee Relations and a Masters of Human Resources and Employment Law from Melbourne University.
Michelle is a registered psychologist with AHPRA, an associate member of the Australian Psychology Society, a member of the Australian and New Zealand Infertility Counsellors Association, and a Medicare provider for clinical psychology services.

Michelle has had extensive experience in both private practice and high level management roles, having worked as a Human Resources Director for 9 years and Director of two international consulting firms. 

Michelle is passionate about providing counselling that empowers her clients to make effective, long-lasting change in their lives.  Michelle assists her clients to gain a greater understanding of the difficulties they may be experiencing, to build upon their existing strengths and develop new coping behaviours, in order to work towards achieving their personal goals.

Michelle draws on a number of therapeutic orientations including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness and solution focused therapy.
